Are you a creative that has crazy ideas on how to market the events of svMUSA and reach new members? Then we are looking for you! The marketing commission is the perfect outlet for your marketing passion. Having experience or a marketing background are a plus, but not necessary!

What you'll do as a marketing commission member.

You will think of new and creative ways of marketing svMUSA to both members and non-members. From keeping tabs on the needs of our members. To creating media to inform our members. Such as making posters and keeping the website op to date. As well as finding ways to attract new members!

Photographer

As a photographer, you are responsible for taking photos and video footage. During events, you are busy capturing great images that can then be used for our website and other social media platforms.

Why is this position essential to our association?
​

This position is essential for our association as it allows our followers to take a look at our events and get a taste of the atmosphere. These images can then also be used to look back at our events.

In this position, you are expected to be able to attend as many of our events as possible, this can change per month. Having experience in photography/videography is a plus, but not a requirement.

Content Creator

As Content Creator, you will be responsible within the committee for creating digital posters and flyers for upcoming events. Alongside creating content for our various marketing channels.

Why is this position essential to our association?

​

It is important that both members and also non-members are well-informed about events and get to know our association. You do this by making creating creative content that both inform our current members and attract new members.

 

Do you already have some experience with design and/or are you interested in developing yourself in this field? Then we would love to have you on our team as a Content Creator!

General Committee Member

As a general committee member, you will support the entire media & marketing committee where help is needed. Think of editing photos, writing texts for promotions, support in taking photo and video footage for social media etc.

Within this position there is a lot of variation and you are responsible for supporting your team. You will have the opportunity to discover where your interests lie!

Why is this position essential to our association?

​

As a general committee member, you play a crucial role in providing assistance whenever it's required within the committee. Your support ensures the seamless flow of tasks and enables our committee to maintain its high level of efficiency in all our endeavors.

Marketing Manager

As Marketing Manager, you will develop creative marketing strategies to improve our online presence on various social media platforms. You will also work with the team to devise and execute innovative offline marketing campaigns. In addition, you will be responsible for analyzing marketing performance and providing data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Why is this position essential to our association?

​

Your position will allow us to reach more people, giving Muslim students the opportunity to get to know each other by attending our events!

​

Do you already have some experience with marketing and/or are you interested in developing yourself in this? Then we would love to have you on our team as Marketing Manager!

Website Manager

As Website Manager, you will be responsible for managing the website and publishing new content. This includes uploading new events, updating information and making the website visually appealing and useful for visitors.

​

Why is this position essential to our association?

​

Through our website we get the opportunity to inform our members and visitors about various topics, promote our events, and allow people to contact us when needed. Because of this, it is imperative that our website functions properly!

 

Do you already have some experience with managing websites (e.g. Wix) and/or are you interested in developing yourself in this area? Then we would love to have you on our team as Website Manager!

Important: every committee member is expected to attend the Media & Marketing meetings. These meetings are held about twice a month and take about 2 hours.
